About Nate Decker:
Nate started his professional journey by earning his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University; shortly after that, he went on to earn an MBA from the University of Utah. Aside from Nate’s academic accomplishments, he holds a profound understanding of the ever-evolving electrical landscape. Nate humbly used every position from Truck driver to Branch Manager, to being named Director of Sales of a Fortune 500 Company as opportunities to forge strategic partnerships that went beyond revenue growth. Nate easily navigates the intricate network of electrical manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and end users, to ultimately drive revenue and remain at the forefront of emerging trends.
Building on decades of experience and a proven sales record that spans over 30 years, Nate’s reputation for strategic thinking and relationship-building is well-known within the industry. The GCD Sales Agency leadership team easily recognized Nate as, “the real deal” per Mike Gorin. Nate became a part of the GCD family in mid-2002, where he remains a hands-on sales manager and active principal owner pushing GCD Sales Agency towards a new era of achievement in the competitive world of electrical sales.
Decades of experience led Nate to once again partner with Mike Gorin in founding Amur Trench. Together they remain committed to hard work, product innovation centered on renewable materials, improving customer safety, and exceeding customer expectations. While operational tools, processes, and products have evolved over the decades, Amur Trench’s core mission remains constant; design products that save money, and time, reduce material resources, and most importantly save lives.
